청화 안료로 상상의 동물인 기린과 봉황을 정교하게 시문한 백자 뚜껑입니다. 연꽃 봉우리 형태의 연봉형(蓮峰形) 꼭지를 지녔으며, 섬세한 필선과 선명한 발색, 높은 완성도를 갖춘 고급 도자입니다. 조선시대 왕실이나 사대부 가문에서 자손이 탄생하면 태(胎)를 담아 보관한 태항아리의 뚜껑으로 추정되며 부장품으로 사용되었을 가능성이 큽니다.
기린과 봉황은 성군의 출현과 인덕, 태평성대를 상징하며, 마주한 구상은 조화로운 통치에 대한 기원을 담고 있습니다. 주변에는 꽃과 덩굴무늬가 여백 없이 들어차 부귀와 번영의 의미를 더합니다. 또한 뚜껑의 상단과 하단에는 각각 만사형통과 영속, 장수 등을 상징하는 여의두문(如意頭文)과 뇌문(雷文)이 둘러져 있습니다.
문양의 균형 잡힌 배열과 유려한 선묘로 인해 전체적으로 조화롭고 고풍스러운 인상을 줍니다.

白瓷盖以青花颜料精致描绘想象中的神兽麒麟与凤凰纹样。盖钮为莲花蓓蕾造型的“莲峰形”结构，线条细腻，发色鲜明，工艺水准极高，属于高级瓷器。此盖推测为朝鲜时代王室或士大夫家中在子嗣诞生时，用以盛放胎盘的“胎瓮”之盖，并极可能作为随葬品使用。
麒麟与凤凰象征圣君的出现、仁德及太平盛世，两者相对的构图寓意着对和谐统治的祈愿。周围密布花卉与藤蔓纹样，寓意富贵与繁荣。盖子的上下缘分别饰以象征万事如意的“如意头纹”与象征永续、长寿的“雷纹”。
整器以均衡的图案布局与流畅的线描，展现出整体和谐而古雅的艺术印象。

This white porcelain lid features intricate depictions of the mythical creatures Qilin and phoenix, painted with cobalt blue pigment. The knob is shaped like a lotus bud. With delicate lines, vivid colors, and a high level of completion, it exemplifies luxury ceramics.
It is presumed to be the lid of a royal placenta jar used during the Joseon Dynasty by the royal family or noble class upon the birth of a child, and it may have been buried as a funerary item.
The kirin and phoenix symbolize the appearance of a virtuous ruler, benevolence, and a peaceful golden age. Their facing composition expresses hopes for harmonious governance. The surrounding space is densely filled with floral and vine patterns, symbolizing wealth and prosperity. Additionally, the upper and lower edges of the lid are encircled by ruyi-head patterns (representing success in all things) and thunder patterns (symbolizing eternity and longevity).
The well-balanced arrangement of the motifs and graceful brushwork lend the piece an overall harmonious and antique impression.
